The MNLMRA has been working with the new ownership of the Finish Line Cafe

The new owner of the Finish Line Cafe has graciously offered up the empty lot behind the business as a place we can race as often as we want during the summer.
I paced it off and it looks to be approx 400 x 250ft so we should be able to create a nice little short track for lawn mower racing there in 2008. We held an informational meeting there earlier this year and a few local participants were in attendance. We will be scheduling another meeting here shortly to lay out the track and get things going.....

Long story short ....

 Princeton is located in Baldwin Township of Sherburne County
I have been working with the Baldwin Township people to make sure we will not be in violation of any city, township or county ordinances, laws, etc etc by hosting a lawn mower race(s) at the finishline cafe.

It looks like Baldwin township will pretty much go with whatever the County says and the County says:
1. Fill out the application send it in. (Needs 3 signatures: landowner,leaseholder and LC pres)
2. Meet with the Baldwin township and seek approval
3. Meet with Sherburne County seek approval
4. Meet with Serburne County planner seek approval....

I am working on all of this but it's gonna take some time as you can see....
